EECS / Wireless integrated circuits ans systems (EECS / WICS)

An international Master's degree programme

The international Master Electrical Engineering and Control Systems: Wireless Integrated Circuits and Systems (EECS/WICS) program will give you a first-hand opportunity to learn advanced skill sets with projects led by high-level research units in the fields of integrated circuits and systems design for Analog/Mixed/RF & millimeter wave applications. It will teach you the techniques and methodologies you will need to enhance your research capabilities at the international level.

A thriving field with many applications

Whether you look for a career in the international research community or high-level research and development industrial departments, the EECS/WICS course will get you there: it focuses on theoretical knowledge and is supported by practical applications. As you finish training, you will be fully ready to pursue a career in thriving fields such as future wireless communication systems, low-power electronics for the Internet of Things (IoT), sensor networks, green electronics, flexible electronics for medical applications, …

Grenoble (and more generally the French Alps area) is an exceptional research environment for nano & microelectronics (with the Minatec innovation campus). The master EECS/WICS is supported by leading research laboratories and companies specialized in radiofrequency and microelectronics. If, as most students do, you choose to stay in the research field with a Ph.D thesis, our partners laboratories (IMEP-LAHC, CEA-Leti, LCIS and TIMA) hire about 15 doctoral students each year in the field of radiofrequencies and mm-waves.

If you come from an English-speaking country or/and you want to obtain an international master’s degree, you will have the opportunity to complete your first year of the master at Politecnico di Torino (Italy).

Master 1

The first year Master is common with other EECS programs with opportunity to select the second year program at the end of the first year.

 Semester 1

Semester 2

Masters 2

The second year Master EECS/WICS focuses mainly on circuit and system design for Analog/Mixed/RF & millimeterwave applications.

Semester 3

Semester 4
